New Carpets

years ago you could put prices in to make even jobs like theses to good to turn away,, not these days,,
 
I had one like that in a loft conversion I used a disposable cover up plastic and gaffer tape
Lay the plastic close to the edge then gaffer tape to the edge the use a bolster to tuck gaffer tape down on into the edge.
Once plastered cut tape with a Stanley blade and remove ..
Its a pain in the ass so make sure you price for it...
Some people just dont think or care

Aye its ok the now m8 I seem to be doin ok. Im pricin 2 or 3 jobs a week just now and makin decent money. Cant complain.
 
fuckwits. tell them to put roll and stroll everywhere and sign a disclaimer or lift the carpets. ffs. they'll have a painter in after you ffs. ffs
 
Remember a plumber mate asked me to skim a bathroom ceiling for him on a job. Got there and he'd just finished.. White bathroom suite, white tiles and white grout from floor to ceiling... Had to cover up with plastic and masking tape over the grouting. Ended up doing a spotless job but took ages.. Told him to ring before he did any work next time..

Am a Yes man buddy. Wasny to bothered at first to be honest but watched a few debates and why no? We deserve a chance. Am no one of these anti english or any of that crap. Got family in england.

As an Irishman I'd like to see Scotland independent politically but everything else staying the same, I doubt if Scotland will be independent though.
 
Could just do what the "plasterers" did when they did my bathroom just before I moved into a new rented flat. Put no sheets down and treaded dust the length of the house!

Seriously sounds awful. If they don't lift the carpets I wouldn't want to touch it.

A dnt know m8 ive got a feelin the yes vote will win. Everybody a know, and am no exaggeratin here is votin yes. Think itl be close but I the momentum is with the Yes.
 
we'll have to have electoral reform if the scots go their own way. otherwise we'll have the tories in forever ffs. not that labour are any better. they're all self-serving coonts who have never had a real job but i like to see a fair fight

Is it usual not to have a stair stringer up north. Even in flats we've done with pre cast concrete stairs I'd normally expect to find a string even if its a false hand cut mdf one.
Just curious why those stairs haven't got one.
