If people are after speed why don't they buy a fast car or bike instead of a work van lol :RpS_unsure:

Yea i know what you mean. Like i say its just money tied up. It costs no more that the 4 year old sprinter i once bought for 8k over the term i kept that, so for the same outlay im getting more van, beddy im sure your tranny does start day an night, bet it wakes the neighbours though :RpS_laugh:

Because the look on peoples faces when you overtake them at a ton plus in a sport van is priceless.
 
Get a long wheel base VW transporter sportline combi dsg in white with every extra. Every time you get in it you will get a stiff de burgh (Pink Steel). VW Roof rack, mint tow a van trailer 10 x5 and an ifor williams tipper trailer 10 x 5 job done.
The thing with big vans is they arent economical in the longterm. How often are you driving with it full to the brim, we aren't removal men ! Once you have taken the gear to a job its usually empty for the rest of the job till you finished.

That's nearly£40k with the vat mate. Have to work till 4.30 every day to have one of those.

still undecided ....... was quoted 17k plus vat today for a 125ps limited spec but is now the right time to buy? will a new transit be out soon???.

I havent a clue, maybe it'll be cheaper to buy it just before xmas when everything is dead???.

Having a smart van does look good in the eyes of a client. Years ago I worked for a firm and the van they gave me was a battered P reg tranny, I backed onto the drive of the clients house and the chap came out shouting that they didn't have any scrap!!

On the other hand if you got a 62 plate what ever with all the bells on I think it just smacks a bit of a rip off.
 
Just park round the corner when quoting if you've got an old banger save yourself 20odd grand :RpS_thumbup:

In the boot, on the back seats, cement, plaster, buckets, hop up's on head rests etc..

What's the top speed of that flyin machine nisus? Looks as tho it could shift?:rolleyes) only thing wrong with it is that bit of gaffa tape has come off under the side door?

Can get 86mph out of her downhill mate, bit smokey out the back though :RpS_unsure:
Oh yeah Never noticed the tape coming off I'll pop outside & put a new piece on now cheers :RpS_thumbup:
