Newbie after advice, tips etc

Hey all, just signed up on here and thought I'd introduce myself, I'm Jimmy and currently trying to get into the plastering scene. I've had a bit of experience when working for a builder and re-skimmed the downstairs of my own house. Got on a college course when work dried up with the builder and have been priced into a few jobs with a friend of a friend who's a good plasterer. For some stupid reason the college I go to gave me a load of money after the first couple of months, so I got myself some tools... and some beers.

Was hoping some people could give me some advice, tips etc that would be helpfull for someone in my position. Also, if someone wants too give me a job, that would ace :)

everywhere is, the only difference is in manchester theyve nicked all the computers from college so can sign up to the forum!

I didn't realise that plastering was a 'scene.' I thought it was a trade. Does that make being G** a 'trade'?

Hello, what do you do for a living? I'm a G**. Do they do 2 week courses for being G** ? Is there an NVQ in it? What's the difference between an NVQ2 and an NVQ3 in homosexuality? Does having an NVQ3 mean you can be in charge of other gays?
