Hope the racist thing is just a joke mate. But if not that's how easy is these days to destroy the reputation of a business on the internet.
I think there's quite bit of work in London at the moment, but as usual peeps want to get it done same day or latest tomorrow when they ring, when I say next availability is after February the line goes dead.

Nope. Potential customers ring me, I choose whether or not to waste my time looking at their job.If you want bit of advice of how not to ruin a business and someone says they want their collapsed ceiling done ASAP and you tell them I'll pop around in March or April you may find they won't wait. If you tell them "my friend, my friend, if you wait brother I do it for you ten pounds only, you probably have many family for work. ". You'll probably get the ceiling job in April.
That's a free tip

I get it what you are saying, i try to avoid them, b@stard of a customers they are.
I got one of them at the moment (wannabe commercial tenant, haven't even got a lease or anything) was keep asking when we'll be finished with the lot, so just packed up and left the job 2 weeks ago and won't be back for another 2 just to pee her off [emoji1]

Busy year for us. £3.50 m2 skim only in Belfast. The worst it ever was, was £2.50 so good to see it up. Still a good bit off the £4.50 it was 8 years ago tho!!

Won't be £4.50 in our life time again unless it's ur own job,2 men can easy do £700 a day on £4.50 which firms realise

I think it will be up to £4.50 again. The firm we are with are happy enough to pay £3.50 at the minute so they must be getting better rates than a year ago. It's supply and demand and if the demand keeps going up so will the prices. I don't think you could get paid to much for this game!!
 
U would struggle to get that over here were getting £4.50m2 skim labour only on massive house we are on but that's direct for builder..most firms around Yorkshire are paying £2.50-£3m2..its taken 5 years to get bk to £3m2..I've heard whispers of nuggets working for £1.80 m2 skim around our parts believe it or not!

Belfast! Biggest shithole on this little island or if you prefer, biggest shithole in the UK lol.

Know quite a few plasterers from Belfast but none have been flat out thou that's probably to do with the fact no one wants to work anymore when all they need to do is shift a few 50 bags to get same as busting your clinks out all day for the same money.

3.50 sounds decent enough for Belfast TBH.

The good aul boom! Will probably never see the likes again on this little rock. They where the days I tell ya. If only every c**t paid their taxes from all them cash jobs then we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now. The poor tax man got raped with not abit of lube in sight in those days lol

I used to get 7.50 to 8.50 to skim labour.

The last few years have been ok. I make a good enough wage. But my last job I f**k*d up on the price and had hold ups all the time. I hate skimming. I like doing external work. I find it easier. Plus more money at it.
