Boring subject but my hands are f####d! I need to wear gloves but can't find any that I can comfortably hold the trowel while wearing,I've tried marigolds and shed loads of others.has anybody got any ideas ? Cheers!(y)
 
Have you tried using a barrier cream before you start work? Neutrogena hand cream sorted my hands out when I was doing more screeding.
 
Cheers guys I've used barrier creams for a while but I think my hands are starting to ache because there wet all day so I want cover them up. I'll check the gloves out today:birra:
 
Marigolds hahaha..it wud make my day turning up on site and c ing a spread stood there with a pair of Maragolds on! Lol...keep them in ur missus cuboard for the dishes
 
If you are involved with lime gloves are an absolute necessity, I've had cracks on my fingers which are sooooooo painful.

Funny enough about 2 months back when my hand was cracking especially my thumb I used a marigold on that hand, worked a treat
 
When most trowels had wooden handles we used to put olive on them would soak in and keep them and your hands from cracking and drying out
