gordon reardon in carlisle has died and his wife a few days later both from covid virus,
he was 87 years old and still plastering at 86 years old , a good man highly regarded and respected in the plastering community here,.........also did a lot of cornice work over the years and travelled to u.s.a./singapore with his work
he had a brother who was also a plasterer who worked until he was 84 years old ,
malc,/zombie/hobo/rigsby etc are just a few of the older ones on this forum , who are very experienced and helpful in giving there advice, along with many others,........but gordon started work 1948 before anybody on this forum was born,.......what a totally different world a building site was then, how he kept going all these years , i could not do it, i have had enough at 60 ,
