iv had 6 months not on the tools to think about this after all my previous rants about this wondertool. and i have to say i have changed my mind. it definitely makes sense to use a floppy bit of plastic to rule backing coats. what a silly invention the metal straightedge was.....
 
i cant actually believe people are still asking about the same questions about these and what theyre being used for.

and as for the original post lol.
