I've never actually got this Matt finish thing?
How do you achieve it?
I've always just troweled it till I think it looks good.
Customer is always right.... even when they are moronsI had a customer who insisted on finish being polished to f##k even though i explained paint probably wouldnt stick to it. Customer always right?
Joe public know fack all that's why they pay tradesmen to do the job properly .
dry faced rub obviously won't work with a carbon trowel only a stainless.
Matt is better or other wise the painter wil b swearing .u polish to much u create your self a dent in the plaster .And that how u get imperfectionOr at least attempt it... not always properly
I am soooo fed up of seeing pictures of over polished plastered walls and ceilings... the trouble is people think its good as they would not post it all over social media...
I am a matt and flatt chap... the way it should be
/rant
I get it with both.
Think that wall looks shhhit to be honest why would you want to do that your not doing anyone any favours inc yourself
If u trowel and trowel a wall For ages u will cause indentationsYou may be right with the favours but why does it look shhhiittt?
It looks super flat to me which is what it should be, may be shiny but it will still look good when painted even if it causes the decorators hassle!
If u trowel and trowel a wall For ages u will cause indentations
Baffles me... are these people stupid.... Hove me some valid reason to over polish a wall...
I over polished a wall in my garage to see what happens....[/QUOTE
