I got two nela mediflex from onestop shop, a 16 and a mini, not really got to test them yet, but at first use, I'd say way ahead of what the were when they first came out, decent quality, will I love them ,I don't know ,but it's a trowel I'd reach for quite oftenNelal much better get it of Ryan

Not at all. I've got both the carbon and stainless in 11in and they decent trowels.Something about ox says cheap budget tools?
A guy I work with has got the ox 11 stainless and likes it and in fairness it’s taken a good hammering, not my cup of tea though. Got a 12 inch mt carbon but I can’t get used to the smaller size I normally use it in cupboards, for beading, and rendering plinths. Not at all. I've got both the carbon and stainless in 11in and they decent trowels.
Unfortunately I pretty much f**k*d the stainless using for a couple of days sticking.

Got an ox for my apprentice and was that impressed i sold my marshalltowns...
the little ox splash buckets are pretty robust aswell to be fair.
I did also buy a ox pipe trowel which was allegedly stainless.
I pretty much fcuked that straightaway by getting it wet stainless it most certainly wasn't, it rusted faster than a ford transit door cill.
I would have taken that back... bugs the crap out of me stuff like that
There wasn't enough of it to return by the time I pulled it out the water bucket
Wow that is quite interesting... think it is good that nela have got involved[/QUO
Im talking about the standard ox trowel danny, no the flex ones (even though i have them too) dont think the standard ones are anything to do with nela..
I brought mediflex when they came out sold them ! Then decided to try again wow what a difference wouldn’t be with out it !!I got two nela mediflex from onestop shop, a 16 and a mini, not really got to test them yet, but at first use, I'd say way ahead of what the were when they first came out, decent quality, will I love them ,I don't know ,but it's a trowel I'd reach for quite often

I just use mine for flattening in the work it’s far superior than any other trowel out there for that purpose alone .I.m warming to in for finishing. Just done some at home. More so I can check it paints as good as it seems.
I hated my plazi I got the delehady one ended up giving it away
They fall apart easily I’ve still got the Refina version no problem with them. Refina still do their own version I think. They moved the manufacturing away from the original place and it has not been good
