Jeremy Corbyn told me.
How'd you know that?
I've gone to using board finish as multi the last few month has been wank!! Either gritty or proper big lumps in it or doesn't mix right in that it looks greasy like oil has been added and not nice to use at all. I reckon if I used the sweeping up from a builder's yard it would be better than multi latleyWe're about fifteen bags into our current pallet of multi and every one has had little bits of paper mixed in it. A right pain in the balls. Has anyone else been finding any? Be interesting to know before I give BG a call.
I didn't know you had such reliable sourcesJeremy Corbyn told me.
They will ask how it was stored, if you mixed properly, take a note of the batch and you'll never hear from them againI've spoken to BG Technical this morning and apparently they'll send a rep out.
Should be interesting.
Gets eaten by giant lizards at BG hqWhat happens to all the recycled plaster board?
Slightly off topic but I remember reading on here about someone who used to put the plasterboard offcuts into the partitions.Ingenious.What happens to all the recycled plaster board?

Purchased in Maldon, Essex Jewsons

The guy came out from BG, he was surprised at just how much paper we'd picked out of one small wall.
The guy seemed very genuine and easy to deal with. He took a bag away with him and I now need to email him to take it any further. A real shame about the paper bits as the gear was working nicely, for modern plaster anyway.

We had a rep come out yesterday from bg as we are having problems with mutli atm , setting very fast & dif stages on same board around 2m2 tearing when trowing up stripping like mad, paper & black grit.Hi all, thank you for letting us know.
In order to investigate thoroughly we need to know which batch(es) this affects. If you have any problems with any of our Plasters, please send us the following:
- A picture of the batch code (on the side of the bag above the use by date)
- Your location (town)
- A contact number
To [email protected]
We can then investigate further.
