Patching after electricians

Had second fix done the other day on a development I'm doing and electricians had to relocate and run more wiring...

I've been left with about 10 of these...cut out with hole saw...

Unfortunately couple are right next to wall lights.

So obviously I know how to patch these but I don't want any cracking.

Anyone got any tried and tested methods...I could foam/bond out and skim/fill...or leave the plasterboard discs in and just fill over?

I was thinking to replace 12.5mm discs with 9.5mm and fill with interior filler, do you think i'd get cracking?

Use toupret fibacryl filler. Let it shrink back then re fill and sand

Highly unlikely if cuts are PVA'd but best to cut surrounding inch of skim off and tape 20 mins extra at most and no need for 9.5

Lash all the dry edges of cut outs and ceiling board with Pva 3-1 and let it dry for a few hours. Use toupret powder and it won't crack.

Can use once. Let it shrink then standard toupret filler and sand

Doesn't work like that with me mate...go out of my way to make sure everything is perfect...never pass the buck onto other trades.
