Patching render around new concrete lintel

Once the exterior lintel is set in, what would be a good way of getting this all ready for a new window?

Would cement board, angle beads and bagged render be a solution?

Depends if u can get the same finish with the bagged render ? Fully mesh beam , sand cement and a angle bead ?

You will have to b very good to patch it up with out being able to notice when painted mind long as customer knows that.

As ctplastering says, expamet lintel and build up scratch coats then fine sand render mix to feather in to original surface.
looks like the external lintel could of been positioned a bit closer to the outside? or a catnic box section might of been a better option.

It's my house, don't care too much about finish as you never really notice it. Just needs to be sound and reliable.

Exterior lintel not set yet until I've decided on best action.

Build it up in coats mate, bead up when you've got a good thickness on and feather in when rubbing up.
