Took a good few photos of my latest job, stables on a farm converted into a house. Ive lost the usb lead to put them on this laptop how else can i get them up? any ideas - cheers

buy a new cable? or buy a USB card reader and stick your memory card out of your camera into the reader and save them onto your computer that way

Church, do you work with Harry from the UK spreads forum? Just that pebble dashing picture you have is the same as one he posted on UK spreads not so long ago.

Can I come off the list now?
;D

Ok Guys here some of my photos these are of Wavendon House

Thats me in the dust mask on my huge hop ups..... The fire place and cornice work is all listed and the floor was oak!!

The plaster had blown off the larths in places so we removed all blown plaster patched it in tight coat of bonding over the whole panel then skimmed the lot

We were only meant to do 3 panels in that room but when we put the bonding on the lady was that impressed she wanted a price for doing the whole room.

:-?how tall are ya then 9ft 2?

Also i little tip you might know already is take the plaster off first with a spade or small shovel clear it up, then take the laths off and clear them, if you mix them up clearing up is a nightmare

Those hop ups are 2 x soakaways... I robbed them off site then had to think how they would fit in my corsa but I got them in.

I can just about skim a 3m high ceiling off them hop ups but at a reach also there is probably anothoer 2m above me.

I was removing the larths carefully because I was not only worried about damaging the floor but I have know the cornices to drop and I didnt fancy that. so my little hammer surficed.

As far as clearing up I had 2 x labourers and another spread so I didnt really do much.

to be honest when I on jobs I dont have to do a great deal cos the spread I had was soooo good I merely was to keep the conversation alive...lol

Anyhow I am a little drunk as my local is a great place to find work....... thats my excuse!!

Danny
