Plaster Dump Pile

I used to have a hippo bag in the front garden (no space for a mini skip) till the Mrs put a stop to it! Usually get away with saving it up in the back of the van till I get a job with a skip on. Add £10 to your price then offer the builder a tenner to dump your crap in his bin!

Most work is commercial so no need to get rid, but when I do I put it in next doors bin cus he a mithering c**t rang police once cus I parked in front of his drive knob head

At my house I have an area round side that is solely for me.I bang out me buckets and clean up me van crap and most of the time drop the crap in me bin.over the last 6 months I started with a buckets worth on the floor cuz me bin was full but now its turning into a mini plaster pile,i going to have to fork out for a skip soon cus the council are also doing bin checks for what we throw away.Anyone else got a dump pile at yours?..Or am I a dirty trader?

Nice one I built a bespoke outside bucket and crap cleaning sink in my plaster dump zone even @Wesley might like it.
Plaster Dump Pile

Yes, over the winter when we do just internals and jobs don't warrant a skip, we bag up and put in a pile neatly on our back garden.

Just filled a 4 yard skip yesterday costing £90 and £20 for labourer to do it.

Summer and externals we just get a skip on job

Thought I would get a ribbings for me honesty but surely there must be some dumb piles elsewhere..can't order a skip for every domestic day or two job and I'll admit I probably mix up more than I need cus it's better to have to much than not enough to be honest.
Go to a trade waste place and pay to get rid of it like most trades do

@superspread put me on to this bloke I done a room for him and he loved it said I done a pukka job and now I pass his number about for plastering he a bit lively for the doe though once he picked rubbish up and wants paying but I suppose we all the same, that sink is worth about 60 notes on line and your using as a clean out sink

Round our way if you don't have a waste carriers licence you can't use them.
Normally I get asked to go on weigh bridge in van and if I got a permit for dump u get an allowance so once mine close I use the birds address next door she said that's alright but to be honest I either collect it up or try make customer get rid and explain costs to dump rubbish

Yeah I'm a dumpster...
Let it pile up out the back until there's a decent amount and get a guy to come and clear it

Thanks for your honesty bud
I think the none dumpsters are lying

Dumpsters rule

If I could get a mini skip out the back I would though cos way cheaper. Lorry won't fit...
Local trade waste site charges by the tonne so that's a no no.
Rubbish is a pain!
But I do add a bit to my price to cover it.
Built in cost though so it can't be "knocked off" the price
I'm all domestic customers and they like that all waste is gone at the end of a job

Of buy a skip car...

We bought a cheapo micra for our reno project and took every scrap of waste to the local tip :D

It was cheaper than a skip and we did not have to have skip on our drive :-)

a kitchen/bathroom fitter I know would fill the customers front garden up and then once a week this chap use to come round and clear all the jobs :D No one had rubbish on their drive for more than a week :D

I find the rubbish situ a pain in the c**t and have mountains of it at times in the garage or down side of house. Nearly all my work is domestic. At present I'm bagging all waste into rubble sacks as I go on jobs (plasterboard and cove separate) and take to tip in car about every 3 weeks. Some lighter stuff I will bag in household bin liners on a job and put in customers black bin nice and neat without taking the pi55. As much shite as possible in my own black bin where I do take the pi55. Used to keep a trailer in the garage until the wheel fell off which was scary. Friend of mine had a lockable skip he uses in a yard. Thinking of renting a garage, £20 a month which might be a good place to form a mountain.

Bloody hell my mrs would have my balls on a plate if I had any rubbish in the garden never mind that monstrosity.

I take my rubbish to the dump and give a boy i know in there a tenner. Whether it's a full van or a couple of buckets of rubbish he takes a tenner so I wait til there's a fair bit.

It is a pain,I black bag most my waste.
Did same at local dump, but they now no longer allow vans in.going to call a few lads on gumtree c what cost for uplift.did it before and it was £30 for 10 black bags full.customers don't give good feedback if you don't take waste away unless you say to them it is cheaper if you leave them to deal with it.

I honestly don't get the issue with leaving it with customer, my terms and conditions state I don't organise to remove it unless they pay for it, 99% of them know it costs a fortune to dispose so are happy to take it in their cars.

f**k doing trips to dump at weekend, thats my pleasure time :bananahappy:

Just put on your quote for a small job £40 waste removal or whatever you think it's worth, they always say to me oh don't worry about the waste we'll take it to the tip, lol right gits it always works. :bananahappy:
Then if they agree to the £40 waste removal you have some money towards a skip when you need one, plus off the next couple of jobs you'll also have some money towards it ;)

That's what I do, works every time!
