Plasterboard qry

Hi, I need to fit a 1m X 0.5m small piece of plasterboard. It will be supported on each side on via ledges. There are 2 batons to screw into also but they are 70mm apart. Owing to the small size should this be ok and not sag. Prob use gypsum board - 90mm thick.
