Plasterboards!!!! I hate them there evil!!!! big daft cumbersome things!!!

Out of curiosity how many people only use 6 x 3s?

I drive a transit so can fit 8 x 4s in but every time I buy them I struggle taking them off the shelf in wickes, getting them in the van and then at the job and always think why don't I just buy 6 x 3s!!!!.

But then I get to job and after struggling think im glad I bought them as only need 3 a wall bla bla bla instead of a gazillion 6 x 3s.

Bloody emotional rollercoster!!!!. Sometimes wish had a small van so weren't an option. Might even box van off with some shelves so I canT fit 8 x 4s in.

Am I going mad!!!!!!!

i only do private work mainly and if I'm doing an extension? I get 8x4's delivered to site. if its just a bit of renovating in a private house eg. small cieling etc then 6x3's and I also prefer 6x3's in a loft conversion as a pain in the ass getting up some staircases with 8x4's?? depends on the job really doesn't it? :RpS_confused:

U want to see the boards in oz 6000 by 1200. :RpS_scared:

So you're dabbing 6' x 3's onto walls?

sometimes I do depending on size of the wall and where in the house it is?? example, your hardly going to go up couple of staircases with 8x4's clattering into everything just do dab and end gable in a loft which is pretty much just a triangular wall?? :RpS_confused:

Anyone know why they stopped making plasterboard lath. 4ft or 4ft 6 x16ins, no scrim required bar at wall and ceiling angle and being so small nice and easy to handle?
