Hello all.

Plasterer from beautiful San Francisco, CA checking in.

I’ve got 10 years on the wall with an emphasis on decorative plaster finishes. I’ve spread coarse to fine lime finishes or “Venetian” (in quotes because Venetian in my experience covers a range of materials and finish styles here in the states), japanese plasters, micro-cements, lime-cement hybrids, cotton, clay… The list goes on.

I was fortunate enough to learn from an established plasterer who taught me everything from material knowledge to trowel skills and techniques to matching colors and other finishes to repairing all kinds of plaster work.

I look forward to learning more and sharing what I know about plaster with all of you.

Thank you!!
Christophe

Don't mind them trowels

Handles are good once you're used to them, that flexy is rebranded under a few banners.

Not bad but the blade suffers damage easier than most others. Mine went ridiculously sharp (and thin) after a year or so then became unusable.
