Nick, as I previously said I am happy to talk to these customers and sort out the problems where necessary. It wouldn't be professional to do it over the forum and also would be very hard as some people hide there full names.

There is a thing called 'Price wars' between competition, maybe PFT Northern lowered there prices a lot to gain the customers, which therefore made us look expensive. Our prices are all on our website, feel free to do a comparison.

How can you 'miss sell' equipment? There are data sheets, videos and a lot of information regarding the machines as to what they can and can't do. It would be impossible to 'miss sell' a machine!

You sound to me as though as you have had a personal experience of being 'overcharged'. A lot of the negative things regarding the 'infamous one' have come from you yourself.
If that is the case please provide me with appropriate invoice numbers where you feel you have been overcharged. My accounts department will raise appropriate credit note/ refund. Manufacturers prices always fluctuate as does the euro, some things get better, some get worse. That could be why certain things are cheaper now or more expensive

im ging to email you an invoice from central for a ridiculously overcharged solenoid valve when i get my refund i shall come on here and let everyone know and will personally say thank you

So you have not been ripped off, overcharged, messed about or miss sold equipment
i take it? Ive heard the same stories your on about probably by the same people but ive never dealt with them or met the guy. Sounds like the same few stories are being bandied about now i wonder who started that off? The internet is available to everyone which means you can shop about and compare prices it doesnt mean coz ones dearer than the other or offers different advise they are conmen....................well appart from the guy who tried to sell me a computer screen last week, who said they were like rockinghorse s**t then found one in under 20 secs on his PC, fair enough he found it 10 seconds quicker than me grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr robbin *******....................see what i mean xxxxxx

i know of quite a fair few people who have been ripped off, one guy to the tune of nearly £20,000, he was nearly in tears when he was telling me, it pretty much cost him his business and almost his marriage.
ive had personal dealings with him myself i was charged £145 for a solenoid valve for an M300 which was actually only £45

now ryan when your dad phoned me a little while back to discuss another matter i raised this issue with him and he denied it and told me that if he had done that then he would have the invoice on record ....i suggested that he go back through his records and when he finds said invoices and refunds me my £100 then i would apologise to him for calling him the name i called him ......im still waiting for his call

Hi everyone,

Ryan Hill here from the Plasterers 1 Stop Shop. Just saying hello to everyone out there and a quick intro to who we are.

We are primarily a machine distributor, however, stock all tools and protective tapes for the Rendering and Plastering trades.

Alongside this we are a supplier of JUB External Wall Insulation systems for the South West.

Look forward to hearing from you,

Ryan
Oh dear,I bet he didn't see this shower of s**t coming over the horizon when he started promoting himself on here,oh happy days oh happydays.

I hired a m100 3 or so years ago from pft central. It was our first experience of a pump. We had a few hours demo with it and of we went to site 2 hours away, where we had Another two spreads and lab. So in total there was me and my business partner (spreads) and another two plus lab. We followed our setup instructions as shown two hours before and the pump was left assembled for us so we just had to plug in electrical and hoses set the water and go. After setting up which took a while being our first time we were spraying, then it all turned to s**t when it pumped out pissy mix. We called pft central for backup and were guided through everything and still no good. At this point the mad alchaholic Irishman that owned the builds and the builder are looking at us like we're a complete bunch of ***** saying u shouldn't be using machinery for any plastering, people just love slating you when there's a bad pump day. Anyway I took it back and got a refund. But with that I lost my wages and my partner his, along with the gang standing around waiting for there finish to hit the walls not to mention the diesel. Received a phone call later that evening to say there was something wrong with that machine, can't tell you what as I didn't understand it at the time and it was years ago. I sometimes work with nick so this is one of the stories he has heard.

I have nothing against mtec pumps, I think as with any other pump when they work they are good. I own a mtec and a pft.

When I was looking for a ritmo around 6-8 months ago I called pft central to see if they had any used ones, he said he won't sell them as there no good, it can only pump 15 mtrs so it's no good for mono and you can use m100 for finish. I said I wanted the ritmo as its versatile with materials. He said well have a m300 then as we can adapt it to spray finish. If you say it can spray finish as well as the purpose made pumps for finish then Il have to take your word on that but seriously how can I be expected to lug that monster in houses, or any internal job. Any way I asked for a ritmo.

I'm not Having a pop at you Ryan just telling you my experience. Fair play to you for trying to clean up your reputation.

Which gene do you have? The Briggs and Stratton or Hondas from SJL we were selling at £1995.00 + VAT. We have been doing those for the past 2 years..... Prices are low now mate, and will stay that way but with quality goods and service.
this was in 2005 it was the green honda genny and a g4 light it cost me nearly 12 grand with vat abit more than pft northern were charging who your dad got them from i was later told the training was by two idiots that took about an hour and who covered the floor in plaster and when we rang about any problem his attitude was poor

All I can do is apologize for your experience with the hires. It is a rare thing to happen but you have to appreciate machinery can go wrong occasionally. We have a lot of guys out there with the m100 who are using it hassle free.

The Ritmo we don't sell and we never did sell. We have many reasons for not choosing to sell this machine in the past. I previously said in other messages that the m300 can do this, however, we would not recommend it due to the size of the machines.

I am a firm believer in what happened in the past should remain in the past if the future is trying to be 'corrected' or 'rectified'. I agree some of you may have had a bad experience in the past, this I can only apologize for again. It is always hard to keep everyone happy. If you do choose to use us again I will do my up-most to ensure the service provided if of an exceptional standard and make sure everyone is happy.

Hi Gibbo,

Appreciate your information and comments. If we purchased the green gene from Northern then obviously it would be more expensive as we have to make a profit. With regards to the training im unsure who that was as it was back then. We have a new set of staff here now and the training is done to a very high standard. I can promise you that if you called again with an issue, the attitude would not be poor.
Im trying to make a change an clear the reputation we have with a few people, we have a large customer base at the moment who are very happy with the service given and products. Hopefully I can change your opinion.

Ryan

Stuart,

Nearly 20k for a machine is a crazy figure. I personally do not believe this. If the price was so high that it nearly cost him everything why did he buy it?

With regards to your invoice, please send it to me and I will personally deal with it.

you dad got the g4 from them aswell and told me it would spray finish and he sold me a soft stator but. o clamp to tighten it with to spray finish why didnt he jut give me pft northerns number and i would of been put straight by someone genuine who would of said it dont and i wouldnt have bought one just after a quick buck and the guys doing the training were from. zimbabwe

We have never ever said the PFT G4 could spray finish. Also those guys from zim, one was Des Miller who was in charge of PFT. I doubt the training was that incorrect it would certainly not be in his interest to do that.
With us buying a G4 from northern, that has never happened. We have never purchased a machine from him, there may have been a swap for another machine. At that that time there were 4 individual PFT dealers we helped each other out where possible.

none of the guys was des miller and your dad said it would spray finish and we actually put some thru it during the training so why would they do that it was onsite in tonbridge they were with us for about two hours tops and covered the floor in water and plaster we nearly got kicked off the job your dad even sold me a slow d 3-4 rotor and stator and a rotomix saying this would do it but no clamp to achieve the pressure i know iam not lying and you did get it from les maybe your dad has conveniently forgot

F**k me Ryan - i thought you used that computer for porn......how wrong i was!!!

Anyway .......got my fiver??????????

FFs Ryan, I know this has feck all to do with me and I dint have an intrest in machine stuff the guys are dealing with here, and i dont know the history here but you have a job on you're hands to pull this out the fire. Good luck, glad I'm a humble plasterer, responsible for my own actions. Seems to me your tidyin up someone elses s**t:-0

so ryan. as you can see theres a lot of people on here that have "quite innacurate points of view" like myself. its funny how so many people must be making this all up. everything that me and anyone else has said to you youve tried to argue the toss and tell them theyre wrong. i think you said that nobody is aware of either of the hires i mentioned. funny that as someone has already backed me up on this. it must be a very poorly run company to not be aware of these, even tho i stood next to the guy that was ringing you about it.

so anyway, back to being offensive, unprofessional and immature.i think you need to get your head out your arse mate. youve decided to join a forum to promote yourself as a company and sell products to people. the truth is your company is s**t and has miss sold and ripped people off for years. youre trying to belittle what i said by telling me its all wrong and im immature etc, when your just trying to cover your own arse. your either oblivious that your dads a **** or your just trying to stick up for him. you should start by actually listening to what people are saying about him and the company and accept that people dont just make things up.

you could start by maybe giving stuart his £100 back, and aploligising to gary and rich brown.

you could also apoligise to me for being a smarmy **** and trying to make out i was making stuff up and telling stories

To everyone who is involved in this,

I have already countless times, apologised for whatever has happened in the past. I was well aware and fully expecting this, and yes some of this may be deserved.

I do seem to have a job on my hands here but all im trying to do is rectify what has gone wrong. I appreciated a 'few' people on here may have had issues before, in all honesty we have all fallen out with a company of some description somewhere along the line things ar not always perfect. We have a very large customer base which are repeated and new customers who are very happy with the service. We even have some who have changed over from other PFT Dealers.

Some of you may believe things you read on here, some may not. All I can do is change what has happened and show you where we are going in the future and assure you that the service will be there.

At the end of the day Nick, you are directly insulting me by saying things about my father, of course im going to get on the defensive. Put yourself in my shoes.... I don't think you would want to deal with this....

The company has not ripped people off for years or anything similar. You have brought 4/5 people to the argument one of who is a PFT Dealer who is bound to say a thing or two.
Machines having problems on hire are possible. Things do break down. I believe that there may of been an issue on a hire and I apologise for not knowing about it. Hopefully it was sorted properly for you and again sorry for any inconvenience caused. We have lots of machines on hire and a problem here and a problem there is bound to happen but 90% of people are extremely happy and say it saved them lots of money and time.

I'm still waiting for the invoice from Stuart, unaware who Gary and Gibbo actually are so if they would like to contact me and discuss this I will apologise. Dealings with Richard Brown, i'm not sure what exactly has happened here as iv never dealt with him. If he could also contact me by e-mail or phone I will sort the issue out.

Once again, the company is moving forward and taking a huge change in direction. With lots of new products and people in the company we are moving forward. To those customers who previously had a bad experience i'm sorry and can assure you that this won't happen again.
Points have been raised on here and they will be dealt with, I have made my actions clear as to how i am going to deal with this and I would personally appreciate if the insults could stop.

Ryan

HI Ryan

We have bought materials from youselves in the past and were happy with the service...you also gave me a couple of hours of your time to talk about machines and which one would be best ect

In the end I bought one from pft wales as he had a secondhand one (ideal for starter to machines)and a new generator ---training and spares

Good luck with the image cleaning ...

fair enough what your saying but you did try and palm off what i was saying by trying to be smart. still waiting for my apology....

im not being offensive im telling you the truth. its not a few people that have had problems, its a lot of people, and you obviously no nothing about them. if you want to addres what happened in the past then admit that your old man is out of order and sort everyone out that contacts you. just going oh sorry for us ripping you off and lying we wont do it again doesnt really have a lot of effect of people that dont like you

hmm... im very glad i dont use plastering machines (anymore) i dont often comment in the machine section as im sure you all know my views on using them... pro's and con's this thread has confirmed my view on them... 5 men standing round watching slurry being pumped out... the site bosses laughing at them as they had no idea... wasted diesel... no wages... enough said... you couldnt sell me one if you tried

Just a week ago I was watching a 2-1 gang do 120 bags in just under 3 hours with a machine .......s**t aren't they

you stick mono on by hand? are you nuts.
we did 90 bags of monorex on thursday last week, over 100 metres, in 2 hours. i dont see how you can argue against the use of a machine on the basis you have the work for it.

If I had contracts with big meterage, especially if it involved a large amount of mono, I would for sure, seriously be in the market for a machine. I feel like a robot most of the time when at work on smallish jobs and you have to draw the line somewhere.

Hard work kills horses!

Totally agree here, 95m2 houses, scrimmed, beaded and dashed and all cleaned up by 3pm , couldn't do that by hand ,day in day out, even if i could be bothered!
