Hi
Not a plasterer here, (or builder of any sort). Just bought a brand new home, took off one of the faceplates to check insulation, ended up checking the electrics too. Anyways, ended up here because some said that the builder had plastered over the faceplate. Is this normal? or regulation? or is it more to do with general poor workmanship? Finding so many issues in the home, especially with plastering. One area seems to be bowing outwards. Most of the lines are more like waves than straight lines. Anything saying that cant be done, or is it just their terrible plasterers?
