Plastering over artex photos

Does anybody have any before and after photos of plastering over artex?

I am after some for a an article I am doing... I will return the love with a link back to your plastering business

@John j your time to shine, you will struggle to work out which is before and after. If there is no timber left in the room that’s the after. It’s on his log burner.

Customer had ceiling skimmed over about 10 years ago.
They had one crack running across ceiling.
The standard of the finish was very good, but it came off in large sections. There was some small movement in plasterboard, a few nails had popped. Looked like no PVA was used or PVA mixed too thin?
They were given the choice of strip coving, over board with plasterboard, new coving and skim with 100% guarantee or cheapest option PVA and skim no guarantee.
They when for PVA and skim.

Reminds me of my neighbour when I was in Woolwich, walls and ceilings were so bad he had it all artexed rather than take it off and replaster. When he sold it the new owner had to take down and rebuild the entire back of the house.
