Yes, it's a red flag straight away, company without registered address, dodgy emails rather than legite, no website (I mean proper) and a f**k**g decorator as a labourer lol

Pics since “repair” I’m still not impressed but don’t know what I can or should do . Do I make a claim via bank as not good work? Or just run and fill more myself as the plug socket areas are the worst really and it’s something you see a lot as use them a lot

I have sent the plasterer the repair pics and have asked his opinion if this is good work at up to his high standards that he brags about.

When it's your own place and you've spotted something it nags but in reality nobody else notices. Do the best you can, paint it and try to ignore it and move on.
If you don't say anything the landlord probably won,t see it or care.

Plastering is basically unregulated, which is why they used to teach it in prison. A Goldtrowel instructor told me the Certified pass standard is to produce a minimum flat 1m square. - which they thought was a rubbish standard.

You seem a bit of a c@@t mate!! I actually rang 13 for quotes but I am not sure if this is a local thing, but so many plasterers arrange to do quotes and don’t show up. Like my sister had quotes and the guys still didn’t show for the work when they arranged. 2 men didn’t show to do the work. Took the 3rd to come do it . Dick head !!

Also the plastering…. Well I gave them s**t as I don’t like to give up and they both come here yesterday late afternoon and rubbed a lot (just like you rub yourself) and after a lot of rubbing walls down they are finally flat and smooth. And can show pics of the work now and I’m much happier I think it was sloppy work and probably rushed so wasn’t very neat…
