Don't bother @Leeroy. There are electric ones about now with nearly the same power as petrol without all the engine hassle and a lot cheaper. Powerful enough to remove growth from walls when they've been treated with a fungicidal wash etc.
I went the other way around and to electric from petrol. i see what you mean though. Petrol will pump 20-30 metres no problem.Yeah I've alway used electric mate, and never an problem but was thinking it would be easier with a petrol from deck with a long hose mate

Honda engine with a Hawk or Interpump pump and a good 2:1 gearing between the pump and engine and you won't go far wrong.

Have a look at jetmac.co.uk , they build a decent range of jet washes.
My missus banned them from computers...an hour a night.
It should be me banned with porn and gambling !!

I have a electric one but I reckon petrol will be better.its dragging the extension leads around that is a pain.
