You are living the dream mate , fantastic that sounds ! :)

As @Smudger1 said ,how many metres a day can you do, the meterage of the plot. You'll know how many days it will take, your base is £220 a day. Its just a hop skip and a jump to working out the price per metre squared to get to your base.
In all honesty the builder has told you how much he thinks you're worth. Say you do 70 meters a day, £3.15 a metre gets you your £220 a day

You’re withholding 50 pence

Is the wrong answer.

Anyone who says just divide what you were getting on day work by the number of metres "you can do" is f**k**g nuts IMHO.
When you're on day work the client is taking the financial risk of any fuckups, when you're on price work you're taking all the risk.
If you were getting £220 on day work you definitely need to be aiming for £260 a day on price as an absolute minimum. More like £280-£300.
The first day there's some sort of problem you'll understand why.
Anyone who disagrees, shut up.
@Stevieo shut up.

90 % of people on this forum don't understand price work plastering . They've never done it and never will but as you said you only need one balls up one day and youve got to work your nuts off to make that up . Proces on site Manchester is £4 skim £4 dab if he's on far a small builder £5 minimum. Them prices are from big outfits and yes there shite buts that's what's on offer
