It's 10.764 actually but make that 12 for the purposes of pricing.

Or 6 if it's the builder doing the measuring

My old man was still pricing up in square yards when I started with him in the eighties. Took me ages to get him to use metres.
Only place I've heard of that works in square feet to this day is Eire.
@theclemo are they still doing it?

Dunno about anything else but flooring and carpet is in yards here.

You can't quote in metres because you'll sound more expensive

Its the area of the floor, so 1500 square foot house will be 6000 to plaster inside
