Priced a job

Priced a reskim in a bedroom there , its an averaged sized room take bout 5 bags skim ,beads round windows ,and one for a corner needs covered with plastic sheets because of carpet. priced it low because work slack£ 150 includding matts she asked is that the best i could do. i just turned and walked out some people want to pay fook all for a skilled job . wat you s think?

Mate that is cheap, i cant honestly think how some people perceve tradesman and the work they do. They seem to think that cos of the crunch we can all work for a cup of piss water.

you got to draw the line somewhere mate at the end of the day that was a cheap enough price and still going to be a day of your time you couldnt possibly do it for any less mate, nice 1 for not backing down though

everytime i go to a job the 1st thing the customer always says to me is were lokking for a cheap plasterer .. they must think were all idiots .. had a t**t of a day today worked all day wiout hardly stopping . some people just dont appreciate wot we do

No lad no ceiling but there was still at least a days work in it .you could nt drop anymore than that or you be working for next to nothing , bad times ???

a normal price would be £200 £300 for me..2 sets plus prep time..peole just dnt get it..the other week a guyh wanted me to dab and skim him bathroom for £5 and skim the livin room for £80 as extras on a big job i was doin 4 him! say no more

yes steve even that price excluding mats is v . cheap ... if people want it doing for any less i might be better off stacking shelves in morrisons ... keep the faith boys . the good times will come back again . just gotta ride it
