Problems with new thistle uni finish

I've been plastering 17 years, have never looked on a forum before (hi everyone)
I came across this page because I have had a call back to a job where the plaster had completely come away from the painted artex ceiling-yep you got it, I used unifinish...
Not only will I want compensation for having to go back to the job and hacking off the loose plaster and reapplying, but I have lost faith in BG as a company for having this on the market for so long with these problems. Most probably like many on this forum I am the type of plasterer that loses sleep over this kind of thing, I started to doubt myself and even started applying for a "normal job" because I doubted myself in this job. Thanks BG, just a shame it took you so long.
Sure enough when it first came out I rolled my eyes and said "that's impossible, you'll always need unibond" but I trusted that BG would take the steps to ensure it was right and at £10 a bag, you'd think the right technology was in place!

Looks like you went over a skimmed ceiling that has what I would call a figure eight pattern on it, it doesn't look painted unless it was painted with nicotine :)
