today we did awhole room out in one go, including the lid, about 6x4. i do all the walls 6ft high and the other lad does the ceilings and the tops of the walls. then we did a ceiling approx 8x6 between us and inbetween trowels i had enough of a break to be able to do the other half so if you push it you can get the metres on. i wouldnt do it everyday but when you need to it can be done, although if your really not sure get get someone else in for the big areas. better to pay someone for a day than get a bad name for yourself.

That's only 120m2 between the two of you Steve.

swear i couldve 1 troweled and polished my set today i did 25m in 1h 25 mins ;D

If it was good enough after that then why would you want to do more ???

its a fine line on hardwall between putting enough on and losing it.

it is at the mo me and my lab plast did a 7 bag set on hardwall the first day ......he's dropping back and having a set now ;D

thats what i mean andy, i could have done the whole ceiling myself if i needed and done that whole room in 2 mixes.

iv just had a job done by a so called good plasterer... took 2 days prepping up with easy fill, scraping plaster from skirting's and caulking corners! what is a good plasterer these days?

I've never scrimmed over the screws in my life and have never had a single problem ???
