Just come back from the pub, first time back .we ate four of us. Felt a bit strange. no atmosphere.food ok ,prices gone up. Me and the wife went to spoons yesterday, I had a big pizza and a Guinness,8 quid. Just having a night cap. Got Chris Rea on .

Same ere.went for a meal with the wife at a chain pub...very quiet, no atmosphere...food prices up at least 25% all microwave style food..overall a poor experience...wont be doing it again in a hurry.

We went to one of them chain pubs once . My steak n kidney pie came before pint

I very rarely eat in pubs , always pretty s**t imo, and I definitely never eat in spoons , I wouldn’t give feed that food to a tramp, disgusting!!

Spoons down our way is normally full of old men with no teeth who start drinking John smiths about 10am and by around 3 most have pissed them self.... most probably retired or crippled plasterers!

I only like pubs in the country preferably with outdoor seating and sea views, dog friendly, fit birds behind bar, pool table and away from all the scabs! Other than that I'm not that fussy!

Have to say , I think food in spoons is very tasty. You can get a nice steak meal and a pint for about a 10 quid.,
