PVA OVER DAMP BONDING?

Had bad experiences skimming over fresh bonding. Once bonded a chase waited a few hours till it was hard enough and gave it one (pretty watery) coat of pva and it done the trick, never sucked in.
Is this a suitable method or could this hold back moisture and cause problems later? I never had any complaints from it.

Yes shouldn't have problems skimming same day over bonding (should be low suction) but it you want you can use a 4-1 over it before skimming.

Careful. One slip with the ratio and you’re f**k*d. Not forgetting that they used two coats at 3:1 on the channel tunnel.

Ideal time to go over undercoats is same day.

those that know what they're doing don't need to put pva on bonding if its dried out a bit....just dampen down with a bit of water
