Question on water proofer

Hi Guys
Been reading regards to putting a water proofer in binding mix, is their any reason why not ie water proofer in the actual bonding. I understand not to use bonding on an outside wall
however if a small repair is required can a water proofer not be added to a bonding mix. I’m aware of lime products I’m aware of s/c curios of the actual fact of water proofer in bonding and how it would react could this be more fatal.

Makes little sense , why use a sponge and put a bag over it , wouldn’t clean much would it , a waterproof product that’s being manufactured is a million miles from bonding

Bonding is a gypsum based product so cannot be used outside.... Just use the correct materials...... Job done....
