Re skim air line cracks !??!?!?

Hi all , I've been a plasterer for nearly 25 years and in the last say 2 yrs I've had more feedback that my re skim work is getting more air line cracks than ever before !! Wondering if any of you guys are getting any similar feedback or can throw any light on the subject ? I've spoken to gypsum but they was no help !!! There is nothing I'm doing differently now to 20 yrs ago !! Anybody ??

There may be a clue in your post mate,...you've spoken to bg but they was no help!!!...... Shiite finish from Bg??? Or am I just being cynical:-0 you say your doing nothing different from 20 years ago????? Bg are certainly doing things differently from 20 years ago!

GO back to the job fill the cracks then wait to see if they go again in the same place , if so it could be movement.

Yh contractors PVA is the cuprit like piss!

happens alot in re skims,best cure is to put small fibres in yer first coat and lay down without.use a different bucket mind.
