Refina mega mixer mm29?
Nice and light, compact, 1800watt. I'm tempted has anyone got one?

When I bought mine it was when they were just about out here (I think) it was a 1 bag mixer - they may have changed the motor to be able to deal with more bags now. Anyway, I still found the handle a bit awkward...unless one of your arms is freakishly long, then fill your boots

it is the old model, i have a couple of dead ones in the lockup. we have the Eibenstock double handle type that replaced that model.
refina paddles are made by eibenstock. you should be able to pick one up about £300. try plasterers one shop.

Did you definitely have the 1800 watt? They do a smaller one aswell for lighter use

I can't remember - the one I had was the entry level that only really mixed one bag - I couldn't afford the next level up then, it definitely had that handle though.

You had the smaller version then, the one I'm looking at is same design just a stronger motor. To deal with heavier use.

Sorry mate, mine can't have been 1800 watt, I upgraded it for a MM22 back in 1999 (still works perfectly) and as you can see by the photo the MM22 is only 1150watts.

I had one like it donkeys years ago, I didn't like the handle so I got the mm30 1800 watt, good reliable bit of kit, the H handle sits better when you put the mixer down

Yep, I also agree about that handle when putting it down. The H handle also works good when mixing - the right had side of the handle can push against your right thigh to make mixing less stress on the arms.

I had one few years back didn't like it it's hard on the wrists when your doing a big mix went for the double handle type much better
