i know its not always meant for mixing render but we did a 12 shovel of sand in bath of render and it took about 15-20 + mins to mix up!

mate i have been there .... they are real tricky to wire up properly

we had the same problem on ours a couple of years ago. it ended up the wires werent sitting right when we put the handle back together

I have the same drill ,sounds and looks like its working fine mate , maybe youve just got use to a faster drill .

no difference in power etc mate i had a d handle drill for years its just what youre used to their still sh1t hot drills ;)

Skimming doesnt like to mbe mixed to fast. To get the drill to mix properly you need to completely cover the wisk in gear else it just flings it about and makes a mess

Just go to wickes and a get a plunger, £7, and wo`nt let you diown. You have a labourer, let him earn his dosh instead of buying him expensive tools.

Or a £9.99 drill from b&q & a £3 paddle.
It won't let you down either........ ;)
