refina spatula v's speedskim

Hi all,
used the speedskim as to rule off at college and found it alot easier than the featheredge. Whats your opinions on witch ia better,speedskim or the rafina?

Defo refina! I'm trying both now and the refina spat feels better,better built and doesn't drag.

That's on skimming. The speedskims ok for floating.

I find on floating the speedskim gets warped very quickly. Might be better with a spat for longer wearability.

Speedskim is designed for skim... can be used elsewhere but its designed for skim...lol

Only ever used the speedskim on backing coats worked ok on bonding..

The speedskim st is good for flattening skim but the speedskim sf is rubbish at finishing as it leaves lines ! I've tried everyway with it but the refina is loads smoother and leaves no lines.

Yeah great for skim, hence it's name. But when you talk to them and read all the blurb on there website they say you can use it for almost anything.

It works well but that slot clogs up in seconds and needs washing every day. Well it does on lime anyway.

We have Guys using the EZE Spat for the following:

Flattening Skim - Finishing Skim - Hardwall - MP75 - Sand and Cement - Floor Screed - Airless - Render - and the recently the most popular is for base coats on EWI Systems - You have a Notched Blade available as well

Pretty much most things...
