Anyone used it on painted bricks ? Got a small area left on a job (ocr) section of the bricks are painted , Weber said to sand as much as possible but wondered if any one has boshed it on and been ok over paint anyway?
I tried micro on a small section and did a pull test and it all came off , didn’t stick :endesacuerdo:

Or any other suggestions that I could pick up from merchants in morning
Thanks :frio:

Thanks @malc I asked vimark too they didn’t recommend rasolite on painted brick though, I’ll buy a sander in morning

i have a large external on painted render and i was recommended to use Rasolite
another that was mentioned was Parinter but that does not have a British standard kite mark.

Yes , on painted render they said resolute is ok , on painted brick said to sand it at least to get 50% off then use mono grip on the bricks

if the bricks have lime mortar joints you may be able just to rake the joints out.
