Rend aid

That stipple the rend aid is no good. You either get stress patches to near the surface or you scratch back and get the tips of the rend aid peaks showing through.

They would say it has to be stippled because you have to spray more gear over it so the stipples don't come through. Why would a standard scratch coat thats worked for hundreds of years all of a sudden not work with this stuff?

Similar to their minimum thickness requirements, sell more gear. (A LOT MORE) as we all know.

Does anyone spray it then anyway?
If the area is decent I spray it. Johnstone key coat primer is pretty much the same stuff but cheaper. I prefer to scratch it rather than stipple. If your spraying alot of rendaid Vincey it hammers your R&S cos its quite a coarse material

What Weber says is a pack of lies. Felix the Caribean Cat tells you one Weber method then condemns that method in your next call.

Fully mesh rend aid in one call then says it wrong to mesh rend aid in another call.

Deborah Rhodes so far talks sense but the rest talk out of their arse.
