Hi, we are in the process of completing a stand alone new build and the back of the house was rendered in approx sep/ October (6 months ago) it was sprayed on with a machine and is a rough cast finish that shouldn’t require painting (sorry don’t know exact product details atm)
We have noticed that the colour match is extremely inconsistent and it seems to be a completey different colour through the middle (almost where the scaffold was) and on other places. It just looks awful! If anyone can give any advice on what could have caused this and any solution suggestions before we approach the builder (don’t want to be fobbed off that it’s still wet!) it would be much appreciated. in main top pic the angle the applicator gun was held at changed due to the scaffold set up. The result is like if you rub your hand over a carpet it looks darker because the position of the moved tufts/strands/piles reflect a different amount light

Needs painting now


The textures in the other pics are not a million miles off each other. It's pigments.


Good couple of coats of masonry paint will look 10x better.
