rending full house and the setting time of the render is a nightmare ,is there a way of preserving it to the morning or avoiding this problem from the start

Big question ,depends on background ,how long the scratch has been on, how much water proofer, strength of the mix, speed of applicant , weather, heat, humidity etc etc,

Use a rapid cement in with normal cement to speed things up. Say 6 sand 2/3 normal cement 1/3 rapid 1 lime. Or what ever your mix is.

Or half the waterproofer in the scratch coat so you keep a little suction.

therms 5days as specified on the bottle ,topcoat was 3:1 ,was two spreads time served ,its warm but no sunshine mainly its a the bottom ,is there something u can put on it to maybe leave it to the morning ;?

Firstly it sounds wrong, 4/1is too strong for thermalites, 5/1 or 6 would be more likely , then 6/1/1 to float it,

I tend to leave mine a good 18 months :RpS_thumbsup: seriously though, if your not on the wind up then these are some fundamental things that a "time served" spread would know. Read some of the how to guides on here or use the search bar before posting

sounds like a great system.....................Thinking outside the box is the future...................:RpS_thumbup:

Simply put some Wickes froost and hardener in. The more you put in the faster it sets right down to 3 minutes if you want.

do a search about rendering on Thermalites, they are trouble.
