I have been asked to do this, and since doing training I have not really had any external rendering to do, so is it ok to render over the painted pebble dash ? Thanks in advance

There is gear you can put on before you render such as rendaid , but it is only as good as the paint you are going over

If it is a pre cast conny garage with the 600 type panels bolted together,,then those pebbles are goi.g no where, even with the paint you get a great key ( I don't usually advocate going over paint) but I do a lot off these units for a particular firm and what we do is for mono , modify your first pass with sbr fully meshing and 200mm strips down the joints , then top as normal, same process if using a thin coat render and top with acrylic, or the creme de le creme use wallcrete and do a brick or stone effect, done loads of these now without a single problem
