Rendering over pebbledash garage

Hi I've been asked to sand and cement render a pebbledash garage with a float finish. Was wondering if anyone could give me some advice of the best way to go about it? It's all rock solid so hoping I can just go on top but unsure if it needs sealing with anything first. Thanks

Iv only done one my own.
jet washed It down, sbr, Full meshed the scratch and doubled up on the joints then top coated s&c
