Various online places sell it as does encon. As I say I travel to Blackburn near hours drive but get my beads etc from them too

Well the moral of this story is that all merchants are basically out to get every penny at every chance unless you constantly haggle on your prices.
Never trust that your prices are set at a previously agreed price. They'll change it when you're not looking.
And never use Travis Perkins, ever!

Travis Perkins Cheltenham.
£28 with vat for 6 YES 6 3m skim beads.
Fair to say I told them to fluff thereselfs, manger followed me out saying he will see what he can do, dropped down to £24 with the vat!!! I laughed in his face saying my local merchants (kellaway) charge me £1.05 a bead he didn't know what to say
Went to wickes round the corner and bought 10 for £19.
