Hi mate,

The Speedskim blade change is quite quick but realistically we feel changing blades for different operations is probably non productive.

For the relatively small cost of the additional Speedskim unit with the finishing blade its much more efficient and cost effective to have the two units in operation.

Once you have the separate Speedskim units on the go then the economy of the blades comes into its own. Everything is interchangeable and you wont have to worry what fits what if anything gets damaged. If you use the Speedskim system as we recommend of course you have the outlay of the secondary unit, but this in our opinion is a very small price to pay for great results :-)

Hi JR - the new finishing blade will be available later in the year. We will be posting progress updates on this fairly soon on our website & Facebook Speedskim | Facebook - also here on the Forum. There has been an unexpected slight delay on the pole attachment as we have been in the process of moving our production/despatch facility in the last few weeks. This has caused some unforeseen disruption - the pole attachment will be available around the end of September. Apologies to all for this delay.

you may well find spats will come into there own with the new uni plaster as and when it comes on sale.

Use to flatten as soon as the gear is on the wall.

You can the lay it down straight away, and flatten again.

There's a slight learning curve as with any new tool.

What's all this about spat's and flexie trowels?
thinking about buying one,
When do you use them? after flattening off?
Do they save time on gauge's?
Everyone seems to know the score but me.

I've been having a crack with mine 2 coats let it pick up spat it let it go matt then plazzy it, you don't save much time but they leave it flat so you can have a nice little wank in the cupboard while you're waiting
