heard it can make finish set quicker anyone tried it a good handful in gauge sets it 20 minutes quicker apparently

Not tried, personally id just 1 coat if on board work 1.5hr a gauge...

Could try over mixing the gear along with dirty water as well, with all these things though the danger is that it will flash on you all at once..

Just 1 coat mate you know you want to!!!

This kind of debate really interests me tbh, I'd love to know how it would trowel up and time set differences if you give it a go, tbh I recon I'd like an hour ish set on say a bag mixed up but on my bigger hits I.e a bag and a half I recon I'd be struggling to get round it all tbh,

But hey I'm all up for the plastering wheel evolving, so let's bring it on !

If your interested why not get yourself an apprenticeship and learn about plaster?

I did experimenting for quick set and found one ingredient that sets the plaster in minutes . So quick I didn't had time to get it out of the bucket.Suposed to continue the trial in January, but haven't touched trowel since. I know I am on the right path ;)

It's quite an awkward way telling us that you won the euromillions

Like I said enrol on an apprenticeship and learn.
It's a bit late at 42 mate, if I had my time again for sure would do one and more, never thought I'd need qualifications but for sure wish I had now, lost out on a few jobs lately because of none I recon.

Or maybe they just didn't believe you lol

Back to topic anyway, I would like an hour set finish or way of tbh it's ok putting dirty water in but you can't really know how it's gonna go with dirty water, it's pot luck , bit of a gamble really, to many variables imo

And a lot of people seem to be crying out for it on jobs

Lol your always working round furniture now your trying to suit them customers who want a quick skim lol you are honestly trying to fix something that's not broke, there are loads of ways of making gear hang or set and this starts with the background. There is a reason they won't make a finishing plaster set quick because it may compromise the gear but please tell me you are not gonna start promoting 5ltr tubs of dirty water? I joked about this before but I'm getting a funny feeling lol
