SBR with LIME in render??? yes or no?

for the waterproofing/flexibility and adhesion qualities in sbr?, especially up north with gales blowing rain onto the render, just heard not to use lime with waterproofer as they cancel eachother out...................

top mate, wouldnt use lime in base coat

just a bit of extra stuff to help it i suppose, got a bit left over, was wondering if anyone had? cant see why it would harm it.......... or would it? not loads, couple of cap fulls maybe. the weather gets pretty howling up here

Its better they say to look silly for a minute asking than doing silly stuff all your work life, no one knows everything, lots of people here just read and say nothing. Every question educates

SBR is never a waste, its the back bone of all the new render systems although alot of systems contain the cheaper EVA powder
