Why don't you gripfill along the joist & prop the board up till the glues set this way no screw/nail pops saves you money on screws & scrim ;D :
lot of waiting round for glue to set but it's all in the price at £60 a day. 8)
Then when you get paid just give them a false phone number ;D

I've used scrim instead of screws before does that count

if the boards are fixed right there should be no probs, do the joints and the angles ( nothind like the good old days with board nails bandage and jute)... :-\
