Quoted a job, full house overskim and PB ceilings 4 months ago!! Finally booked in for the 27th went to look at it and its back to brick as the prick joiner messer obviously didn't fancy stripping the wallpaper as it was woodchip!! Now I'm back at the pricing stage for fully board and skim!!

I did and big quote originally, each room labour and materials itemised, now he want me to do the same again in a day!! Fckin ******!

Emailed him just the labour and materials cost to try and get a go ahead before I spend 3 or 4 fckin hours redoing a quote all spreadsheeted out!!

all you have got do to to your quote is add the cost of the hardwall and labour for the floating.
i never split the cost of labour and materials. it is always one price for labour and material, so that it makes it more difficult for the customer to work out the labour costs. so when i go home at 2 o clock they do not know what my earnings are.

Yeah I know bud, but I've won this job for that very reason the fella is a property fella and I included scheduling etc.
 
Surely you could work it out in 30mins,days per room plus mats for each then total.job done,cash in the bank.:RpS_thumbsup:

Yeah course already done and sent mats & labour cost but he wants it all itemised like I did last time, the thought of doing that this evening is killing me :(.

fark that just one price for the lot if they dnt like it dnt accept it blaady itemising it out ya fool
 
A schedule of works is fine, but itemising it all is a p!ss-take. Another tightfisted landlord by the sounds of it. Give him the bottom line figure and be done with it........... And why is he listening to that joiner? He seems a right clueless c**t.

you are busy its gonna take you the rest of the week to itemise everything for that quote dnt forget to allow valuable fart time......oh and make sure you have time for a good clear out in the morning after a couple of coffees, stick it all on the bill mate:RpS_thumbsup:

sweet as long as your getting paid for it mate haha oh and its itemised on the quote otherwise you wnt get paid for it
