p.s. if i was gonna do it again id use 2x 2'6" arch kits and 2x 2'9" as opposed to 4x 2'6" kits like that one is...

or you could say 'naaah, cant be done. anyway. no one has arches any more' haha. i've only ever done arches in board, piece of piss that way, i'd like to try something like that though

slightly different angle.... never did take a pic of it skimmed up, forgot the bloody camera... looked spot on though...

customers request, and dont forget the brickwork was already chamfered (squints), well roughly anyway.. ;D

would have been equally horrendous trying to square it off leaving just a plain arch, corners would have been 4" deep..

thing is, once its beaded up its dead easy, forget it freehand, it'll be all over the place...
thats not an example of good rendering, its an example of good beading i reckon...

remember that 'grand designs' project with the 'art deco' curved frontage on that mad house? pretty sure that was on about the same time, they used timber profiles at about 600 ctrs to form about a 400 radius curve to the entranceway...
took em over a week... :o although it didnt show em scratching it which im assuming is where the time went letting it cure...
