Tony i have to dry line 3 bedroom lids tomoz, i hate that job, how can you do it all day mate.

Tell you wat, cos i dont tape and joint often it would be quicker, for them its a time thing, they reckon they need to paint it asap for a tennant cumming in.

It's better when you have the machines to play with. I couldn't hand joint all the time.

The weather we've been having, surely if you open the windows it would probably be dry the next afternoon. IMO, taping is only quicker when you have large areas to do. At best, doing it properly, you'd first and second coat the first day, Second day do the third coat, and sand on day 3. If you're only doing 3 ceilings, they'd be skimmed on day one, job done! A day to dry and paint on day 3.
