Skim over emulsion paint

Hi all when trying to learn myself skimming I did the kitchen. First few Walls were ropey to say the least. I left 2 with the intention to come back to them and re-do at some point.

They have had a coat of emulsion on them, well actually the stuff you buy for fresh plaster that doesn't need watering down. They have not had any top coats of emulsion or anything....

Can I just now a couple of months later just pva and reskim or do I need a different bonding agent ect??

Skim them with easifill then sand away till they look good :RpS_thumbsup:

As its your own place Id just PVA an away you blow.

If it was a clients I'd prob plasprime as thats how I roll!

why pva it if its his house and plasprime it for someone else

If it dont take to the new paint with PVA and its someone elses gaff then he got a go back sort it etc and they wont be happy. Plasprime it and you know your covering yourself.
If he just PVA's it in his place and it dont take its not as bad as it not taking in a clients and when they say ' ooooo i got told by BG that you should of plasprimed it first.' That a good enough answer for you bud?
