we got some skimming onto board using mp finish on a job in portsmouth, most high level but can be done off electric lift. must have cscs card. £2.35m2 labour only. PM me or monkey. start next week.

Chris done a nice job and if worked hadnt have come up in his area he would have been back, each room works out at £160 which can be done in a day. We have a lad from here called Chris who contacted us and his work is spot on. because he took a chance he is now inline for a job down the road which has over 4,000 m2 of skimming. I feel sorry for the lad who never turned up , he rang us and arranged to be onsite at 8 , we tried to call him 4 tmes and he never returned our call. He was local as well but he never looked at the bigger picture.

the company we are wrking for havedroped our rates to 2.50 they say they have to. we still making it pay doing quite well actualy but there where 2 spreads lafin at me last night for wrking for 2.50. the silly bastards have been out of work 2 weeks and have turned work down. ???

Lee, things are are the turn now mate, a lot of firms will be trying there luck because they have priced work months ago at low rates and they are shitting themselves now work is on the move because the rates will go up as well which leaves them having to pay more than they have allowed to get jobs done or they will fall into breach of contract. Lets not forget a lot of these firms made a killing in the first part of the reccession because they paid low rates but had priced on high rates.

I have and never had a problem but knauf will not back it up and all you need is one piece to sheer and knauf will tell them the whole lot will need redoing because it shouldnt have been done and there goes's your shirt and everything else you own
